HEY CHICAGO! THIS WEEK on DAAAA Podcast we have an AMAZING special guest... Elijah Berlow!! Elijah is a wonderfully talented folk, blues and bluegrass singer and musician. He plays multiple instruments, mainly the guitar and banjo. We speak with Elijah about folk music and the culture of folk music in Chicago. How does folk music differ from other places in the United States and is there a big folk music culture here in the Chi?

Elijah and the C60 crew discuss the feeling of performing on stage and how both comedy and music are comparable when trying to create a story and an atmosphere for the audience to enjoy. Norm and Justin share their experiences on stage doing improv and theater and Elijah shares how he performs on stage and what he learned watching other types of performers. How does a musician create an experience, particularly in folk music? We discuss.
