Hey Chicago! It was Memorial Day yesterday! Shoutout to all our veterans and servicemen and women who put their lives on the line so we can goof around and so silly stuff on our daily routines. We have a wonderful history and many of our veterans are the reason we live so freely today, so we honor them. However, what will this day look like in the future once previous generations have passed. War is not as prevalent as it once was and looks way different now. Their are different stereotypes for joining the military these days. So, will Memorial Day ever be the same? Norm and I discuss.
Lori Lightfoot is officially mayor of Chicago! How will she do? Rahm is done and he gets his final report card grade from Da Chicago 60.
We review a play at Theater Wit from the Shattered Globe Theater Company, "Hannah and Martin," AND we give a big shout out to Walter Payton for being named da best Chicago Bears player of all-time. All of this and the Jagoff of da Week on this episode of Da Chicago 60 podcast!
Be sure to join us every week for more hilarity, corruption, news, and the greatness that is the city we love, Chicago!
